We have written this page to be read, not hidden behind legal jargon. If a mandatory law gives you stronger rights than this page, that law takes priority.
1. Welcome access
The seven-day full-access welcome period requires no payment card and does not automatically become a paid subscription. When the period ends, no subscription charge is created unless you actively purchased a plan.
2. Cancelling a paid subscription
You may cancel at any time through the available account or billing controls. If you cannot access those controls, email support@anivoapp.com from the address connected to the account.
Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period. You keep paid access until that date. Deleting the desktop app or stopping use does not by itself cancel billing.
3. Renewal charges
A subscription renews until cancelled. To avoid the next renewal, cancel before the renewal charge is processed. We will make cancellation no more difficult than signup and will send notices where required by law.
4. Our standard refund approach
We do not normally provide a full or partial refund solely because you stopped using Anivo, forgot to cancel, used fewer credits than expected or changed your business plans.
Unused credits have no cash value and are not redeemable for money. This standard approach is always subject to mandatory consumer rights and the exceptions below.
5. Incorrect charges and service problems
Contact us promptly. We will investigate and provide a correction or refund where:
- the same Anivo purchase was charged more than once;
- the amount charged does not match the checkout confirmation;
- a charge was taken after a cancellation that should already have been effective;
- credits you paid for were not added and we cannot correct the balance within a reasonable time;
- a refund is required by applicable law; or
- we agree that a material service failure justifies a refund or credit adjustment.
6. Consumer cancellation rights
If you buy as a consumer, the law where you live may provide a cooling-off, cancellation or refund right. For many UK distance contracts, this can include a 14-day cancellation period.
If you ask for digital services or content to begin during a legal cancellation period, the law may allow a proportionate deduction for service already supplied or may affect the right once digital content is supplied, but only where the required information and acknowledgement were provided. We will not use this policy to remove a right that cannot legally be excluded.
7. Requesting a cancellation or refund
Email support@anivoapp.com from your account email. Include the account email, charge date, amount, invoice or payment reference and a short explanation. Do not send your full card number, password or authentication code.
Approved refunds are sent to the original payment method through Stripe. Bank and card-processing times vary and are outside Anivo’s control.
8. Complaints
If you disagree with a billing decision, reply to the support decision and ask for a review. We will reassess the account, checkout information, usage and payment record.
Nothing in this process prevents a consumer from using a regulator, court, card-provider process or another remedy available by law.
