01 / THE FOUNDER’S STORY

First came trade. Then a solution to my own problem.

I started my entrepreneurial work in high school. I imported wholesale products from different countries and sold them. I worked in both e-commerce and wholesale. Finding a product, importing it and selling it were different parts of the job. Eventually, finding customers became a problem.

I am a technical person, so I wrote a simple Python script just for my own use. It worked. That was the beginning of Anivo: looking for an answer to a customer acquisition problem I was experiencing myself.

There were existing tools. For my needs, some felt incomplete, some inaccurate and some outdated. I kept developing my own solution. Eventually, I left my other businesses and committed all my resources to Anivo.

02 / THE FOUNDER’S STORY

The first Anivo grew through my own network.

Everything began approximately a year before I incorporated the company. I released Anivo v1 around the time I founded the company. Anivo Technologies Ltd was officially incorporated on 11 September 2025.

I distributed the first version only as far as my personal network could reach. I sold it to large businesses as an enterprise product. It was not a broad launch where anyone could arrive online and start using it. I began with companies I could reach directly.

I wrote the v1 application code entirely in Python, including its interface. A small tool I had used in my own business had become a product I offered to other businesses.

The next stage called for a much bigger rebuild and transformation. In developing today’s Anivo, I looked beyond adding features. I reconsidered how the steps from research to contacting a potential customer should fit together.

03 / THE FOUNDER’S STORY

I learned about AI by working with it.

I was a whitelist member before Midjourney’s public release and had the opportunity to try early image models. I also used ChatGPT in early access. I no longer remember the exact days or months of those access periods.

By 2026, I had worked extensively with AI tools at high volumes. To me, experience means more than opening a model for the first time. It means sustained use, comparing outputs, finding limitations and trying to build something useful with it.

Based on my own observations and personal assessment, I believe I am among the world’s top 1,000 people in terms of practical AI usage experience. This is my assessment, not an independently measured ranking or a title I have been awarded.

In 2026, I participated in a programme I knew as Türkiye Yapay Zekâ Kalkınma Projesi, or the Türkiye AI Development Project. After interviews involving 2,000 candidates, I was one of the 40 selected participants. In this setting involving government and ministries, we met with professors and other participants in conference rooms.

My contribution was consultation and knowledge sharing. I shared my experience, and the other 39 participants shared theirs. I did not jointly develop a product through the programme. I am keeping its details private for confidentiality reasons.

Anivo was going through an intensive development period. I voluntarily left the programme to focus on Anivo.

04 / THE FOUNDER’S STORY

My business education is still in progress.

I am studying International Trade and Business at Istanbul Topkapı University, a private foundation university in Istanbul. As of 5 October 2026, I have approximately one year left to complete my bachelor’s degree.

Trade is both the subject of my studies and a field I have worked in since high school. The need to find customers that led to Anivo came directly from that experience.

05 / THE FOUNDER’S STORY

Anonymity and innovation became Anivo.

I derived the name Anivo from anonymity and innovation. That is the story behind the brand name. I do not use it as a promise that the product provides anonymity.

I did not start Anivo simply to make another piece of software. My purpose is to rethink the process of finding customers. I want to build a product people naturally turn to when they need it, and can understand how to use.

Spotify and Netflix bring a particular everyday need to mind. That is the kind of connection I want to build for Anivo: Need to find customers? Anivo. This is my ambition, not a claim about the scale we have reached today.

06 / THE FOUNDER’S STORY

Beside the user, never above them.

When I think of companies like Apollo, I picture people in suits looking down on the user. I jokingly call this the “Salesforce Guys” approach: a mindset focused on selling the next add-on rather than having a conversation with the user. That is my personal impression and criticism.

That distance is what I want Anivo to break down. As we grow, I do not want us to become a company that looks down on its users or treats every need as another sales opportunity. I want Anivo to remain a companion to the user.

Of course, we do not work for free either. Anivo is a business. Making money and treating users honestly are compatible. People should understand what they are buying, and the product should not make them feel small.

In designing Anivo, I wanted an experienced professional and someone who had never used business software to find it equally understandable. We spent months working on the user experience toward that goal.

It is a design ambition and a continuing responsibility. To me, a good product lets people focus on their work instead of spending their time trying to understand the product.
